If you are looking for a sweet champagne, most champagnes that have "demi-sec" or "cremant" on the bottle will be to your taste. Any champagnes that are "brut" or "natural" will be far too dry. "Extra-dry" is a little sweeter. Any champagnes that have "doux" on the label will be very sweet, and should be recommended for desert wines.

If you are looking for a sweet champagne, generally avoid the ones that say Brut. Try something that says blush on the label (usually pink in color). Even something like Andre's Blush will be sweeter than normal champagne. You could also try to sweeten drier champagne by adding fruits like raspberries to the champagne flute.

The sweetest champagne I know of is called White Lies. It is made by Wolf Creek Winery in Ohio and can be found in local stores.

Champagnes or sparkling wines that are advertised as "demi-sec" or "cremant" are smoother and sweeter than their dry counterparts. Demi-sec and cremant wines are created in such a way that some of the residual sugar is left behind after the second fermentation, making them sweeter and well-suited for dessert pairings.
