What are some reasons for a 13 year old to wear makeup?

In bright lighting, skin with no makeup can look exceptionally washed out or pale. Shadows around the eyes can be softened, and blemishes covered to a certain extent. Appropriate makeup can improve self-image, and applying makeup is an inevitable step from childhood to adulthood. Thirteen year-olds can be taught and influenced to a greater extent than older teens.

13 year olds can wear make up when they are getting face masks in a sporting event or are dressed as clowns and muppets. msaky

Hi i am a 13-year old an many girls in my class decide to wear makeup such as lipgloss,blush,mascara,eyeliner ect. I think at this age i don't need makeup. What i think is appropriate is a little foundation to cover pimples and some lip gloss.

Most 13-year-olds wear makeup, so a girl may feel intimidated if she doesn't. (the boys will prefer girls with makeup, the other girls are prettier, etc... )

Some occassions for a 13-year-old to wear makeup is for Halloween, a dance recital, when standing up in a wedding, and for playing dress up.

The reasons for a 13 year's old person to wear makeup could be triggered if it has scars or different signs (inherited or not). Else he should enjoy the time of childhood.

I think it is fine for a 13 year old to wear makeup as long as they keep it natural and dont look like a clown. I know when I was a kid my mom would tell me if I looked like a tramp/clown so tell them moms!

im 13 nd i wear make-up. it helps me feel prettier and it definetly makes me prettier. its a self-esteem thing i guess but i make it look natural. i never overdo it. never

If they get acne as a teenager, makeup can certainly help to allievate the problem. Also, it can contribute to a higher amount of self confidence for a child in interacting with their peers.

I'm 13 and the reason I wear mascara is because it enhances my best feature, my eyes. I don't need or want to wear any make up. No, I'm not trying to empress boys or fit. (Even if I eas, i would not use make-up to get what i want. )
