You must visit Rome and all the historic sites there. From the Pantheon to the Colosseum and Circus Maximus, everything quintessentially Italian is in Rome.

When visiting Italy, the absolute must-see cities are Venice, Florence, Rome and of course Vatican City. Make sure to add a gondola ride to your list while in Venice and the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City.

The Uffizi Gallery in Florence is a must see if you are interested in art. The Leaning Tower of Pisa in Tuscany. The Colosseum in Rome is a must see!!

In Rome see the Colleseum, the Spanish Steps, the Vatican. Also, visit the ruins at Pompei. Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and be sure to see Michelangelo's David. Also, get to Venice before it sinks.

Rome is obviously the heart of Italy, Venice is a town unlike any other on the sea, Florence has the best art, Milan has the best shopping.
