If you want to make a game about physical features of the earth, the ones I always used with my students were archipelago, bay, canal, delta, estuary, gulf, isthmus, mountain range, plain, plateau, river, sound, strait, tributary, valley, and volcano. If you want to include map terms as well, you should teach them latitude, longitude, projection, scale, and legend.

Mesa, whose origin is Spanish for table. Volcano, whose origin is the Roman god Vulcan, a word the Romans invented to explain the Vesuvius eruption. Mediterranean Sea, because the Romans thought it was the middle of the Earth.

I like the term "archipelago," which is a group of islands close together. I also like the geography term "tundra."
