What are some ideas to make an archway for a wedding?

When my daughter got married, I borrowed a white archway structure. I went to a fabric/store and bought strings of pearls, white toulle, beautiful floral vines and ribbons to match the color of her bridesmaids dresses. These were strung around and through the archway creating a gorgeous effect. Play around with different items you think are desirable.

Use flowers and ribbons that go well with the wedding colors that the bride and groom chose. Another idea would be to use unique items that mean something important to the bride and groom. This will help make it special to them and something that will be remembered bu guests.

You can make wedding archways out of a variety of materials, limited only by your imagination! You could use a string of helium-filled balloons, attached to the ground at both ends. You could also construct one out of wood and paint it. Alternatively, create it out of a trellis and grow flowers on it!

One idea for an archway is white balloons around a frame. The frame would be made of something cheap, such as scrap wood, with balloons around it. Short strings on the balloons to will make them tight and then carefully staple them to the frame. Also, I suggest first putting white ribbon around the so the wood color is hidden.

To actually have the frame for the arch some trellis from a garden center in white is a good idea. You can dress the arch with real flowers or artificial with some silver decoration and gold colored ribbon. Or the arch could be dressed with material, the color of your choice. White floating net is a nice decoration.

Start with an archway lattice from a home improvement store. Cover with flowers, ribbons and floral to the colors of the wedding. It generally comes in white but could be painted to your wedding colors to match. The flower theme should match your wedding flowers. Just order enough to cover the lattice.
