What are some ideas for teacher appreciation gifts?

Teachers enjoy decorations for their desks or rooms: decorative calendars, nik naks that have to do with the subject they teach, or a gift card to a book store.

The best gift that one can give a teacher is a photo frame with the class picture in it. She/he would remember and treasure it. If that is something common, a book, a lovely painting or even a lovely pair of silver candle set would do.

A gift card to a casual restaurant is a sensible gift. A gift card to a store that sells a wide variety of school supplies is practical. If you are well-acquainted with the teacher, you can confidently give something that you know the teacher already desires.

Gift cards are a definite winner. Get her something that appeals to many people such as a common coffee shop or bookstore. Coffee and tea are also nice to receive.

If your teacher is a female, something like a nice coffee cup with a stuffed animal inside would be nice. If your teacher is male, perhaps a tie or a nice pen, depending on how well you know them.
