Some ideas for designing recipe pages include pasting pictures of yourself making the recipe and pasting pictures of the final end product as well. Also use glitter and stamps to decorate.

Use creative stickers that feature kitchen utensils and ingredients for recipes. Also, cover the scrapbook in picnic-style fabric that is white and red checkered.

I would suggest using a lot of red - it has been proven to stimulate the appetite. You can also find food stickers at most craft stores.

Write recipes on various cards, can be bought from the Dollar Tree. Cut out pictures from magazines of food, kitchens, appliances, etc., and place on the pages for a different look. Print off a chefs hat and put it in top of a picture of you and label "head chef."

Check out your closest scrapbooking store for all kinds of great food themed accessories, papers and stamps. Then go to the library and check out books on scrapbooking for ideas on how to assemble your pages into a gorgeous scrapbook. With the huge popularity of scrapbooking, there are many online sources for ideas and materials too.

Cut out pictures of the ingredients in the recipe from magazines or the newspaper. Then glue the pictures on the scrapbook page which gives the recipe using those ingredients.

You can add some personalization with pictures from the events you made the specific recipe for. Or add funny or special stories about the recipe and the experience of making it. You can also add comments your loved ones said about the food. Or take a picture of your finshed product before you eat it.
