A lighter color of green depending on furniture in room or what room is used for. Definitely a light tan, white, yellow would look nice. But I would look more to the tan or white as green is a strong color for carpet.

Tan would be a nice earthy color to complement the green carpet. Finding furniture for your room would be easier with a neutral wall color like tan. However if the room is a kid's room or a playroom, bright blue could be a fun and uplifting color to paint your walls.

White or half-white (cream) is the best option if the carpet has darker shades of green. Peach or light pink,light shades of clay red(terracota) goes well for both lighter and dark shades of green carpet. Green carpet with some floral prints is always recommended.
