What are some good room colors with green carpet?

I just put down new green carpet and I love it but now it is time to paint.

A lighter color of green depending on furniture in room or what room is used for. Definitely a light tan, white, yellow would look nice. But I would look more to the tan or white as green is a strong color for carpet.

Tan would be a nice earthy color to complement the green carpet. Finding furniture for your room would be easier with a neutral wall color like tan. However if the room is a kid's room or a playroom, bright blue could be a fun and uplifting color to paint your walls.

You should choose a paint color that is neutral and will coordinate with your colorful new carpet. A creamy almond color or a sandy tan color would look great against a green carpet. Stay away from bright yellow, red, gray and dark blue shades.

You could use a lighter shade of the carpet, accenting with different tones of the shade to achieve a monochromatic effect.

White or half-white (cream) is the best option if the carpet has darker shades of green. Peach or light pink, light shades of clay red(terracota) goes well for both lighter and dark shades of green carpet. Green carpet with some floral prints is always recommended.

For a warm and earthy feel, a natural taupe or shade of tan would really enhance the green while providing an overall serene ambiance. If you're going for a more modern look, a steely gray in an industrial shade that's not too dark would make a dramatic impact and provide a great backdrop for some mid century design elements.
