The best home made illusion I know is to use baking soda and vinegar to make a volcano. You can search for many easy, fun illusions on the internet, or check your local library- you can find books for chemical and hand illusions that you can learn easily and quickly

You can make amazing fireballs that you can shoot out of a pumpkin. Simply light a candle in the pumpkin, insert a straw so that it blows slightly over the top of the candle, load it with powdered coffee creamer, and puff it out. It will take some practice.

Grasp a pencil in your fist and use the other hand to grasp your wrist on the pencil hand. Use your index finger to hold the pencil and open your fist. The pencil appears to stick.

A trick- playing cards. A spectator chooses a card. you show the spectator the card they chose the only one was different, red-backed card in bunch of blue-backed cards.
