Make a glass block light. Spray the glass block with a frosted spray paint. Once dry, glue cut outs, stickers or pictures to reflect your theme. Set on a table and place a votive candle behind the block. The light of the candle looks beautiful through the frosted block.

Glue two blocks together to create a vase, candy dish or candle holder. You can also use stickers, etching cream, glass paints, papers and decopauge medium to make a pretty paper weight. Older scouts can easily wire up a nightlight. You can find instructions for all of the above online.

If you can get some blocks that are pre-drilled then insert a string of christmas lights inside. The front of the block can be decorated with window clings or using different colored tissue paper and modge podge. The nice thing about window clings is you can change the decoration to fit the season

If you can get someone to drill a large hole in the top with a glass dripp bit, they can make vases. I have one and its a great center piece. They can make book ends. Take two and paint with glass paint. Let the paint set for a few days to set.

If you can get someone to cut out a round circle with a glass drill you can use these for vases. Or glass paint and use as book ends.
