Pear Crumble: stew pears until soft, cover with crumble mix (flour, butter and sugar combined to a breadcrumb consistency), bake in oven for 30 minutes.
Pear Sponge: stew pears, cover with sponge cake mixture (eggs, sugar, butter and flour). Bake until sponge is cooked.
Both recipes can be served with hot custard, ice cream or cream
