It don't imagine that a tire would have a model specific problem. As long as you follow basic tire maintenance then you should be fine. Always have you tire properly mounted and balanced, keep you alignment set correctly, always keep them filled to proper specification, and always rotate them as directed by the manufacturer.

The most common problem with the tires on any car, including the Solara, is uneven tire wear. This is most commonly caused by failure to regularly rotate the tires. However, it can be caused by problems with the tie rod ends or ball joints. Problems with these parts will cause the tires to wear prematurely and unevenly.

Your tires may start to fade really quickly and you may have to change them rather quickly. You can try to drive less but I would just change them pretty often.
