Pneumatic tyres, or tires are made of rubber and have cords or wires inside the rubber. They are put on a round rim made of metal and filled with air. They are used one vehicles of all sorts, anything from bicycles to heavy machinery. "Pneumatic tyres" is the proper term for what most people usually just called "tires".
