What are my options for getting rid of acne scarring?

Buying a product such as mederma may work but exfoliating your face two or three times a week will help promote new cell growth.

It depends on the type you have. For hyper-pigmentation, micro-dermabrasian works great for sloughing off old skin cells. If scarring is more severe, Lasers work well for resurfacing the skin.

You can go to a dermatologist and get a special dermabrasion. You can ex foliate your skin daily and apply a mostuizing lotion such as one with Vitamin E. This will help repair the damaged skin cells and either reduce appearance or remove the scarring.

Usually chemical peels or lasar is used to get riu of acne scars and pitting. There are some lotions and creams on the market that claim to reduce them but I wouldn't know if they work or not.

Some acne scars will fade in time. For very serious scarring, you can ask your dermatologist about the possibility of laser treatment.

You can use baking soda to help get rid of acne scars. Just mix it with water to make a paste and scrub the area for 30 seconds. For deep acne scars you will have to use something like a chemical peel to help get rid of the scarring. Good luck!

well,we all know how embarrassing and uncomfortable the acne and acne scarring are and the best option besides trying different over the conter products is visiting a dermatologist ,he is going to help and inform about what options do you have,also the most popular treatment is the laser,obviously is expensier but is worth it.
