What are dynamics in music?

dynamics means volume meaning the loud and soft. From softest to loudents here are the most common dynamics: pianissimo, piano, mezzo piano, mezzo forte, forte, fortissimo

Musicians use dynamics to adjust the volume of certain parts of a musical piece. "Piano," for example, means you should play softly. "Forte" means you should play loudly. Other words like "crescendo" mean you should get louder. There are many other dynamics which can be found in music books.

Dynamics are the sound levels. FF is very loud F is loud, MF is kind of loud MP is kind of soft, P is soft and PP is very soft. They all correspond to a word in Latin.
