The classical civilizations of the Western World were Greece, Rome, Egypt, and the Mesopotamia. The latter is now Iraq. The Eastern civilizations were the Indus Valley and China.
The classical civilizations are normal considered to be Greece and Rome when considering Western thought. The other classical civilizations in a larger context would be to include China and Egypt.
