They will ask simple questions that will be correct like name, age, place of employment. They will then ask harder questions to see how the person reacts differently.

A good polygraph examiner reviews all the questions with you before asking them on the test. The examiner begins by having you answer both truthfully and falsely to questions such as your name and age. The questions must have yes or no answers, so they're phrased with "Is your..." or "Are you..." as opposed to "What is..." or "How old..."

The questions used to establish a baseline are simple things like "is your name XYZ? " "do you live at. . ," "are you employed by. . . "

They start off with useless control questions that can tell a polygraph how you feel normally. Then it all depends on exactly what you are receiving a polygraph test for. Besides the beginning simple questions, most questions will very.

The most common questions come first, "what is your name? " and "Where did you go to school? " than they move onto "Where were you? " or "Why did you? " and questions in that nature.
