What animals make strange nocturnal sounds?

There arer many different types of animals that makes these noises. Any type of animal that is awake at night,is at risk for making these noises. For example,one of the most common noises that are nocturnal heard in the animal world,comes from the owl.

Almost all nocturnal animals make some sort of sound, like their daytime counter parts. Whether it's the hunting keen of an owl or the squeal of their prey. 'Strange' is hard to quantify not knowing more.
