In the wild elephants use their trunks for a variety of things. This super strong and useful apendage can reach food high up in the trees. The trunk is also used to hold water for bathing and drinking. The trunks can also pick up and move small objects to very large objects. It is also involved in trumpeting as communication.

They use their trunks like hands. They use them for picking things up. Another thing that they use their trunks for is to take a shower. I think they also use that same water is also used to take a drink with.

Elephants use their trunks for many things. They use it for smelling and they use it to put stuff into their mouths. They can use it as a hose to suck up water which they will then spray it into their mouths or onto their body or other elephants. This is common if it is hot.
