The outside mirrors on my Aztek are not working. What can I do to troubleshoot them?

there is two kind of fault can be accrued, first you should check electrical wiring it might disconnect from somewhere if its in order then open the mirror it might be motor is jammed so give it little grease as lubrication.

First check the fuse to see if it hasen't blown up, if it's working try giving external DC power from battery to see if they work. You have to apply voltage directly to the controls.

If you are referring to the power that is going to the mirrors or the heating then you can trace the electrical wiring. From the switch, trace the wiring through the dash and into the door unit. Then from the door unit to the actual mirror.
