Should I use conditioner on a leather chair?

That depends on what kind of leather it is made of. Shiny leathers, whether smooth or distressed are usually OK to use conditioners on. If you use a conditioner on nappa, suede or nubuck you could ruin the finish.

It is fine to use conditioner on a leather chair, although make sure that the condition being used says that it is for leather.

Yes, you definitely want to use conditioner on leather. It will help to prevent cracks in the leather and it will also protect it. You will probably want to condition the leather about 1-2 times a year. This will help to lengthen the life expectancy of your chair, it makes the leather look great as well.
