In a word, No. You do not know the tastes of the potential homebuyer. They may love the current color or they may hate the new color.

If your cabinets are a really outrageous color then it's probably a good idea to paint them. The paint cost is minimal and it will be worth it in the end. If they are your standard wood color or a color like black or white then don't worry about painting them.
