I have translucent teeth.

I would say you are either grinding your teeth or eating tooth much acid. The tooth enamel has been lost and can lead to loss of teeth due to decay. I recommend you see a dentist.

Your teeth look that way because you have thin teeth. They may have more of a tendency to chip or break. You may have to be a little careful.
