Should I be concerned if my lab is 6 weeks pregnant and she is big in her rib cage area, but not her belly?

I had a lab too and she carried her pups closer to her ribs than her belly too. The pups were all ok.

I would be concered that the pregnancy may not be a normal one. Her puppies may be in the wrong position and could be causing her pain. I would take her to the Vet as soon as possible just to make sure everything is going how it should.

No, this is not a problem until much later in the pregnancy. If she is farther along in the pregnancy and the problem persists, see a vet.

yes,you should. Health of a person is everything. I think you should take her to hospital as soon as possible.
