If this is the outside unit then you shouldn't be worried. If this is inside then you need to contact a profession to troubleshoot your unit.

It depends upon the location of the unit. If the water, which is probably condensation from the air conditioning unit, is leaking from inside the unit, the condensate drain may be clogged and require cleaning. If the unit is located above a living space, say in an attic, this is especially important as water buildup could damage ceilings!

Well, I would be concerned. It doesn't seem fairly normal for water to be under the heat pump. I think there may be some kind of vent leak in your air conditioner system. You should get this checked out. If you cant get this checked, I suggest you use your warranty.

You do not need to be concerned about water under your air conditioner if it is just water and not something else. If your air conditioner is still running cold,it is probably just condensation dripping off of the air conditioner. You may =be leeking freon, and that would be something to be concerned about.

Assuming we are talking about the unit outside, the water is just condensation from the copper lines. The freon is cold running through the lines, and the air outside is warm.

Yes. That water is condensation that should be piped away from your unit. The pipe could be clogged or at an angle that does not allow water to properly drain.
