For manual transmissions, it's common and normal for this to cause stalling. Learning to balance simultaneous operation of clutch and gas is one step to operating a manual transmission.

If your vehicle has manual transmission, yes it will definitely stall if it does not get enough gasoline. This is true whatever gear you are in, particularly first gear. you must sense the clutch point and add pressure to the accelerator as you reach this point in releasing the clutch.

The car will stall if you do not give it enough gas and you have to bring the clutch up so it is equal with the gas pedal get your feet level on the pedals.

I don't think it is accurate to say that bringing it "equal" will solve the problem... the driver needs to achieve the appropriate balance, but they are not necessarily "equal"  add a comment

Yes...especially in petrol engines. Actually it's not just the gas that determines whether the engine stalls or not - it's the balance between clutch and gas....the more the clutch is depressed the less gas you can give. Keep in mind that you're trying to gently engage the spinning engine with the stationary wheels!
