My rabbit has brown stuff in his ear and he always flops them like they bother him. Should I take him to the vet?

Your rabbit likely has ear mites, which are tiny bugs living in his ears and on his blood. The brown stuff is their excrement. Take your bunny to the veterinarian ASAP to have the ears cleaned out and to get medicine to kill the infection and relieve his irritation.

I would consider taking him to a vet. It is possible that your rabbit has an ear infection. If it looks like he is in pain, I would take him to the vet so they can clean out his ears as well as give you advice on how to prevent this from happening in the future.

Your rabbit sounds like he has ear mites. You might want to try a small soft cloth with peroxide on it and gently wipe and dry inside his ears. If it's ear mites they should wipe out.
