The engine Imobilizer may be activating, if it allows you to start and not drive. Or the Lockup Torque converter is stuck in the locked position.

Check the computer for codes. You might have something like a vacuum leak but without more information I can't say for sure.

If the engine in your Chevy engine seems to be dieing all the time then you will have to have it replaced.

i replaced my thermostat and also put stop leak in my radiator. my car just died and dont want to start, it just cranks. what should i look at to get it started again?
