My 5-month old Schnauzer/rat terrier is vomiting off and on and has mild diarrhea for four hours. What could be wrong?

A small dog will dehydrate quickly and die. Take your dog to an emergency veterinarian hospital. Never medicate a dog with people medicine without instructions from the veterinarian. Your dog is either ill or he's been poisoned.

If he continues to vomit and have diarrhea, or if he becomes listless or you see blood in his stool, you should definitely take him to the vet. I also recommend that you not feed him for several hours. He may have eaten something that didn't agree with him, so I would let it pass out of his system.

I think that you have to go to veterinary because you don't know what is the problem of your pet and the veterinary can help you and cure your pet.
