Paralysis is common, but only when one side of the face is paralyzed. However, if you are paralyzed anywhere else, seek medical help immediately. Gut irritation is not so common because reported flu-like symptoms of Lyme disease include headache, chills, fever, body aches and fatigue. If the gut irritation continues, you should seek medical help.
