While they did have some financial problems, especially trying to compete with other stores that also target young women, there are still stores in many states. If you go to their website there is a "store locator" at the top right of the home page and from there you can find your nearest location.

Yes, Wet Seal clothing stores are still around. They seem to be in more rural area mall, like cities, than smaller town shopping centers. They also have an online site.
