I have nice clothes I don't wear anymore, but I've never been to a consignment store before.

They put your clothes for sale at a set price. If they sell, you get part of the profit and the store does as well. You only get paid if it sells.

The store will take you clothes and try to sell them, then you and the store will split the money in a previously agreed upon amount.

Clothes should be in good shape and dry cleaned. The consignment store will put them up for sale, if the clothes sell they take a cut and you make money.

you take the clothes to the store, they decide which ones they want, then they price them. they give you part of the profit once they sell.
