McDOugals is not the name of a real store, although it is the name for a very large publishing company.

The name of the fake McDonald's in the movie Coming to America was McDowell's. It was the fast food restaurant that Eddie Murphys' character worked at. It was also the first role for Samuel L. Jackson. He was the armed robber that was defeated by Murphy.
