Is there communism in America?

The governement of the US is a republic, yet communists both live there and espouse their beliefs, despite the estimated 100 million deaths of this failed form of totalitarian dictatorship of the proletariat. Through the 1930s and most of the 1940s many communists held hig position under President Roosevelt.

There is no communism, per se, in America. However, there are citizens within the population who could be described as "communist". But there doesn't appear to be areas of America that operate communism.

Communism is beginning to get a strong hold of America, thanks mostly in part to the election of Barrack Hussein Obama and his communist plans regarding healthcare, etc. Though baby boomers generally don't fall for his smooth talking, a lot of younger Americans (especially college students) have begun adopting his communist ideals.
