Yes. For instance, it does not calculate statistical functions pertaining to normal and exponential distributions, nor does it calculate special hypergeometric functions such as the Gamma function. It also cannot operate on complex numbers, vectors or matrices.

A Casio Solar Scientific Calculator, will not work long in the dark. Nor will it do your homework for you. It also will not find equations that you typed incorrectly

The FX-260 does about everything but it does not do graphing and it does not display non alpha numeric characters.
