Talk to your ophthalmologist about specific local chapters that can provide services, such as the Lyons Club. Other wise contact your county seat for a federal and state list.

I am not sure if there is an agency for those in the US, although i am sure there must be. Check online. I know the lions club accepts used eye glasses which they pass on to needy individuals.

Sight for Students is a Vision Service Plan program. They provide eye free exams and free glasses to low-income, uninsured children. New Eyes for the Needy is a non-profit organization. They purchase new eyeglasses for poor children and adults in the United States.
