Yes, there is. The Ontario Ministry of labour set the minimum wage in Ontario province to CA$10.25 per hour(that has been effective since 1 Jan 2011) for experienced adult workers.

Yes there is a general wage in Canada that is given to qualified workers. In Ontario Canada that wage is 10.25 for 2011.
