Is something wrong if my morning sickness suddenly stopped?

Shouldn't it have been gradual?

I vomitted with my 1st child for 4 months straight 2 or 3 times/day & night. It never eased up then gradually stopped. With my 2nd, I was just as sick for 4 mos. I woke up one day and it was gone without warning! Be happy!

No, some women's morning sickness will stop as quickly as it starts! Usually this is a sign that your hormones are leveling out and your body is adjusting. Others will carry on through the entire pregnancy or come and go. If you have other rapid changes in pregnancy symptoms, you should contact your doctor's office. Otherwise, enjoy feeling better!

All women are different when it comes to pregnancy. Morning sickness usually stops at the second trimester and some women don't have it at all.

Morning sickness is something that is unpredictible and inconvienent. If you stopped suddenly, just be glad that it's over and focus on the happier things.

It can come and go completely and very suddenly, you may have several great days and then it may come back. However, if you feel off then you should check in with your doctor. Especially, if you are early in the pregnancy and have had previous miscarriages. The doctor can check the baby and make sure things are okay.
