Is POV writing a good way to tell a story?

All stories have points of view, typically first or third person. Third person is the most commonly seen, therefore being the POV people are most comfortable reading. Write in the best way you know how to. Once you get a feel for writing stories, you can practice writing from other points of view.

Personally, I like third person best because you are able to get the story from a neutral point of view, whereas first person only gives you one perspective.
