Is Pedialyte a good treatment for wet tail in hamsters?

Pedialyte is used in animals to keep them hydrated when they're sick and aren't taking in fluids, so it probably wouldn't do too much for treating wet tail. If you do decide to give pedialyte, make sure you get the unflavored kind, don't get any that is flavored because it's not good for treating animals.

Yes! Dehydration is a big fear with this. Mix equal amounts Pedialyte and water and administer with an eye dropper. Dehydration can kill your pet quicker than the actual bacterial infection. Stop feeding fruits and vegetables, this can intensify diarrhea. Keep his little bottom clean with a soft wipe.
