North Park is a very good neighborhood with lots of cozy homes and amenities. The crime rate is actually below average for urban areas.

All neighborhoods have crime. Some just have more than others and some have some that are just publicized a lot. The neighborhoods that you don't hear about are the ones you should worry about because you don't know what goes on in those shady areas. Anything could be going on.
