Is New Jersey part of the Mason-Dixon Line?

The Mason-Dixon line formed the border between Maryland and Pennsylvania and Maryland and Delaware. After the Missouri Compromise the line came to refer to the divide between northern and southern States. New Jersey is thus within the northern part because it is north of Delaware.

The Mason Dixon Line is a dividing point of the pre Civil War North and South. In the North, slavery had already been abolished. Below the Mason Dixon Line, slavery was still an ongoing process. The Line was draw on the boarder of Pennsylvania and Maryland, with Maryland below. New Jersey was above the Mason Dixon Line.
