Is my gift card no good now that Fortunoff's bankruptcy is a done deal?

In order to answer this question specifically, you will need to direct this matter to the issuing company's bankruptcy trustee. Sometimes during bankruptcy retailers turn over their accounts to creditors-- perhaps some successor businesses might consider honoring gift cards to generate business good will. You would need to inquire specifically.

Fortunoff's filed for bankruptcy and issued a notice that all gift cards had to be redeemed in the stores by March 8, 2009. The notice included this phone number for customer service for questions regarding the gift cards: 800-937-4376
