Is Mario Party 7 pretty much the same as the other ones?

Actually, you should get it! Don not skip it, you'll be missing out! Mario party 7 is a really good game. Lots of fun, lots of interaction, and so much different little games to play.

Aside from an 8-player joystick only minigame, there are very few differences between Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7. You won't miss out on much by skipping it.

If you are a Mario Party collector, I don't recommend collecting it, just because of the fact that you're collecting them, but honestly once you play one Mario Party, you've pretty much played them all. The only real difference in the games are the mini-games and the board layouts, so you're probably not missing much if you skip it.
