Yes, it will leave the hair softer and tamed. If you leave it to dry naturally you may get some light waves, however if you straighten your hair as well, you will get a great smooth look. Just keep in mind it is not permanent.

It depends on how tough your hair holds a curl. If you have very thick hair it may take a couple times to get it straight.

L'Oreal's X-Tenso hair straightening works only for few days and then the hair reverts back to its original form. It removes the frizz and loosens the curl only.
