Is Lifeline screening necessary if you go to the doctor regularly?

Their tv ads make it seem very important.

Lifeline screening checks a few of the causes of stroke, but there are many others. There are some people with higher risk for whom this screening is useful. Ask your doctor at your next visit whether you would benefit. Lifeline screening is not covered by insurance or Medicare unless prescribed. If your doctor doesn't recommend it, ignore the scary commercials.

I think it is very important, most insurance companies dont cover the screenings they do unless there are symptoms and it is very expensive to get those screenings at a hospital. I found Lifeline to be very affordable and accurate
