Is it worth getting a GE answering machine repaired?

Well I think it might just be cheaper to buy a new one. It doesn't cost that much and it going to cost you about 60 dollars in repair. Unless you know a really cheap place to get repairs done from then just buy a new one. It's cheaper and all.

In my opinion you are probably better off just purchasing a new answering machine rather than getting yours repaired. You can get an answering machine for a fairly reasonable price, and the cost of repair will probably be a lot as far as labor charges. It isn't really worth it to get yours repaired.

In my opinion, I do not feel that it is worth it, most basic answering machines these days cost $20.00 or less. If you want an answering machine with a phone attached to it, you can find those for around $25-30.00 and up, depending how many phones you want connected to that unit.

The short answer is no but the qualification is that it depends on what's wrong with it. If it's just your bearings gone, then I'd say go for the repair option. If the entire shaft has stopped flexing, you'll save more money buying a newer machine. GE has some lovely new machines out.
