No and all races are moving towards a common height standard with global improvements in nutrition. Nutrition and health are more important determinants of height than race or even genetics.

Black men and white men range in height from tall to short along the same range. The tallest people in the world as a group are the Dutch men average 6'1. The shortest people in the world are the Mbenga (pygmies), men average 4'7.

No, there are a number of people who believe it's true, but according to data compiled in 2008 by the Center for Disease Control, the average height for white males is 5' 10 1/2". For black males it is an even 5'10". A lot of this myth is actually based on beliefs about slaves.
