Is it possible to lighten marble countertops?

Certain glosses and coatings can darken the appearance, but I don't think there is an attractive and reliable way to lighten them. Darkening the areas near the countertop can help to make the counter itself look a little bit lighter (I know, its a little counterintuitive).

Generally they are bright themselves and you simply need to brush them regularly,then they will become brighter, or you can put some wax on them.

The only way to lighten a marble top is to buy a roll of cover that sticks permanently, this could only be used for domestic purposes. A marble top cannot be lightened for industrial purposes because of hygiene.

YES you can,Have them cut thin if you already purchased the marble.Some marble dealers will cut it thin for you also.This will reduce Weight in half,Another way to gain light marble is it's type.Grey white marble is lightest darker the marble the heavier it is.Also silica sand blaster's can reduce weight by shaving some off of each side.

Yes, anything is possible with marble. However, it has to be done my a professional. There is no virtual way that you could get it done with natural aids and in the right tone.
