Is it possible for a creatinine level to be zero?

My test results say "O."

It is not possible to have a creatinine level of zero, they may not have had enough blood to run the test or there may have been a test malfunction, creatinine levels vary depending on age, gender, and muscle to fat ratio. Anytime there is an abnormal lab finding you should contact your doctor.

Creatinine levels are 0. 5 to 1. 1 mg/dL for women. An increase in creatinine 0.5 or above normal levels can mean a problem with the kidneys and should be considered potentially dangerous.
